About Willamette View

We are an independent, not-for-profit Life Plan Community. We have a track record going back to 1955 as an innovative, welcoming and connected community with a culture that supports wellness in mind, body and spirit. We’re not part of a big national chain. As an Oregon public benefit corporation 501(c)3, our primary interest is serving the purposeful individuals who call Willamette View home, rather than shareholders of a corporation.

Accountability and transparency are important to us. We’re proud to share our latest consolidated financials, which describes our financial position and performance.

Mission Driven

As a not-for-profit, our mission and vision guide us in all areas of decision-making. We have a “three-legged stool” of leadership, made up of a Resident Council, a volunteer Board of Directors and Executive Team.

Our Mission: To Inspire the Art of Living Well
Our Vision: To Transform the Experience of Aging

    • The Council acts as a liaison between residents and administrators. Members are responsible for lifestyle and activity programs and ideas for enhancing daily life at Willamette View.
    • Our volunteer Board of Directors provides financial oversight and strategic direction.
    • Our Executive Team leads and oversees the work of our core operational areas.

First Life Plan Community in Portland Area

Not all senior living is alike. A Life Plan Community, also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is a type of retirement community that offers a range of onsite programs and services, residential housing, and various levels of healthcare within one campus. Our comprehensive approach eliminates worries about where and how your future needs will be met. For families, it assures that a continuum of care is available to their loved ones as circumstances change.

All Are Welcome

Willamette View is pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for equal housing opportunity for all. We encourage and support a program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, gender, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. Under the “Housing for Older Persons” exemption, Willamette View is intended and operated for occupancy by persons 55 years of age or older.
