The Coronavirus under a microscope

Web Accessibility

Willamette View is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology devices and services. If you experience any difficulty accessing the information provided on this website or need further technical assistance, please contact us.

Measures to support accessibility
Willamette View takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Pages are accessible in a text-based format.
  • Font size can be adjusted in the footer.
  • Color contrast meets WCAG AA standards.
  • Graphics are paired with descriptive words (ALT tags) to supplement the images.

In addition to careful coding, we used VoiceOver and WAVE to test for accessibility while developing the Willamette View website.

Using Adobe Acrobat for PDF files
It is suggested that you use Adobe Acrobat reader for viewing and printing Acrobat (PDF) files. In order to view, navigate and print PDF documents, users must first download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Instructions for doing this are available at the Adobe website.

For details on how PDF files can be translated to text for screen readers, visit access.adobe.com, Adobe Reader X Accessibility, and Acrobat X Pro.

All Are Welcome

Willamette View is pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for equal housing opportunity for all. We encourage and support a program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, gender, disability, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. Under the “Housing for Older Persons” exemption, Willamette View is intended and operated for occupancy by persons 55 years of age or older.

First Life Plan Community in Portland Area

Not all senior living is alike. A Life Plan Community, also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is a type of retirement community that offers a range of onsite programs and services, residential housing, and various levels of healthcare within one campus. Our comprehensive approach eliminates worries about where and how your future needs will be met. For families, it assures that a continuum of care is available to their loved ones as circumstances change.
